Restaurant consultancy Goliath welcomes new partner Reginald Coachman
Goliath Consulting Group, an Atlanta-based firm specializing in the restaurant industry, has welcomed Reginald Coachman as a partner and chief consulting officer. The food and beverage industry expert brings more than 30 years of experience in multi-unit restaurants, business development and consulting, and sales.
As chief consulting officer, Coachman will use his deep industry knowledge to help restaurant owners and operators improve their operations and profitability.
Prior to joining Goliath, Coachman held several executive roles at restaurant company FOCUS Brands, which operates more than 5,000 stores under a roster of brands including Schlotzky’s, Cinnabon, Jamba, and Moe’s Southwest Grill. Coachman was most recently vice president of operations at Cinnabon, and before that served as VP of franchise operations at FOCUS, and regional VP of franchise operations at Schlotzky’s.
Before his ten years at FOCUS, Coachman was chief operating officer at Glennlock Foods and EVP and COO at Concessions International, a hospitality management company specializing in airport concessions. He also previously served as COO at Atlanta Franchise Development Company, the franchise group which operated 100 Church’s Chicken restaurants in five states.
Coachman has served on a number of industry association boards, including as president of the Greater Houston Restaurant Association and as a board director for the Texas Restaurant Association. He is currently a board member for the Georgia Restaurant Association.
Coachman holds a bachelor’s degree in public management from the University of South Florida.
