Capco adds new partners Bill Stewart and Paul Mokdessi
Capco, a global management and tech consultancy focused on financial services clients, has welcomed Bill Stewart and Paul Mokdessi as partners in the US. Stewart joins the New York office and Mokdessi joins the Chicago office.
An experienced cybersecurity consultant, Stewart will work to drive the growth of Capco’s cybersecurity practice across the country. Mokdessi, a risk consulting veteran, will work to drive consulting business growth in Chicago and the Midwest.

Stewart brings more than 30 years of consulting and industry experience. He spent more than 25 years at Booz Allen Hamilton, latterly serving as commercial cyber business lead and overseeing a team of 3,000. He supported clients across a range of industries, including financial services, retail, energy, manufacturing, and the public sector.
Stewart most recently spent two years at Chubb Insurance, where he was division president of the global cyber risk practice. He holds an MS in electrical engineering from Drexel University and a bachelor of engineering from Widener University.
Mokdessi has more than 20 years of consulting experience, with deep expertise in risk management, regulatory compliance, digital transformation, and building high-performing teams. He has worked with many top banks, insurers, asset managers, trading exchanges, and regulators – completing engagements across North America, Europe, and Latin America.
Mokdessi was most recently a managing director at EY, where he spent seven years and was leader of the US Central region financial services risk management practice, serving large banking and capital markets organizations. Before that he spent seven years at PwC, where he was a principal and delivered financial services consulting to banks and capital markets firms, focusing particularly on regulatory reform.
Before PwC, he was a managing director in the financial services risk management practice at BearingPoint. Earlier in his career, Mokdessi held leadership roles at ABN Amro, Nationsbanc-CRT, and First Chicago Capital Markets. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BA in economics from Wesleyan University.
