Eliassen Group acquires Silicon Valley staffing firm The Armada Group
Eliassen Group, a Reading, MA–based consulting and talent solutions firm, has acquired The Armada Group, a Santa Cruz, CA–based IT talent solutions firm.
"Our strategic partnership with The Armada Group opens Eliassen Group up to the vast high-tech landscape in the San Francisco Bay Area, notably deepening our presence in the Silicon Valley market," said Dave MacKeen, CEO of Eliassen Group.
The Armada Group was founded in 1995, and delivers on-demand talent solutions within one of the most challenging technical recruiting landscapes. The company provides its clients with a large network of carefully screened talent in specialized information technology fields.
The acquisition provides Armada’s clients with an expanded scope of services, and expands Eliassen’s footprint into the San Francisco Bay Area. Eliassen has one other California office, in Los Angeles.
"We are thrilled to join the Eliassen Group community," said Jeff Tavangar, president and CEO of The Armada Group. "Our companies share a dedicated commitment to providing an exceptional client experience, and this common goal seamlessly unites our organizations."
The transaction follows a series of bolt-ons since Eliassen was bought by private equity firm Stone Point Capital in November 2018. Last year, the consulting firm absorbed Credere Group, a Denver-based management consulting and staffing firm; Project One, a NYC-based IT staffing firm; and Webster Consulting Group, a Woburn, MA–based boutique IT consulting and staffing solutions company.
Eliassen was founded in 1989 and delivers advisory and talent solutions in technology consulting, Agile consulting, creative services, managed services, risk management & business optimization services, government solutions, and life sciences. The company has 19 offices across the United States.
