Maine Pointe adds Burton White as EVP for CPG and Retail

Global supply chain and operations consultancy Maine Pointe has welcomed Burton White as executive vice president for consumer packaged goods (CPG) and retail.

A respected operations strategy and supply chain management specialist, White will focus on expanding the firm’s growing CPG and retail practice. He will also help Maine Pointe’s clients navigate changing consumer behavior, regulations, risk, talent management, and other supply chain challenges.

White brings more than 25 years of experience helping executives transform their supply chain and operations. His expertise includes developing innovative supply chain solutions, building professional teams, and achieving sales and business development quotas.

He previously spent five years at supply chain consultancy Chainalytics, where he led the industrial sector (including CPG and retail) and assisted clients in developing and implementing cost efficient and effective supply chain solutions through advanced data analytics.

Before that, Burton was director of supply chain & operations advisory services at KPMG, a senior manager at Accenture, and an SVP in the supply chain consulting business of UPS. Earlier in his career, White was a senior manager at Capgemini Consulting and a senior logistics consultant at DHL.
