MBA names Mark Colturi COO
IT consultancy MBA Consulting Service, Inc. (MBA) has announced the appointment of Mark Colturi as COO. In his new role, Colturi will lead the firm’s solution delivery and report to president and CEO Lou Coleman.
"Mark will play a critical role in leading, designing, and implementing MBA's next phase operations and growth strategies," Coleman said. "Mark's ability to direct multiple departments, solve complex problems, and lead and inspire a diverse team to innovate and improve/create services offerings is unmatched. These are all essential components of our ability to meeting current and future customers' mission critical needs."
Colturi has nearly 35 years of experience in the IT field. He joins MBA from Sevatec, an IT consultancy for the federal government, where he served as executive vice president, managing the firm’s federal civilian and defense business. Before that, he spent more than four years as senior vice president at Salient Federal Solutions. There, he managed a $200 million portfolio. He began his career with more than 25 years of service at Booz Allen Hamilton. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University.

MBA is headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia. It employs more than 350 people and operates out of 46 locations globally. The firm works predominantly with the federal government to provide IT systems integration solutions such as custom data analytics, digital services, system engineering, human factor engineering, and infrastructure. In addition to IT, MBA offers engineering, professional services, and facilities management solutions.
