Maine-based Readiness Associates buys Continuity Dynamics

Readiness Associates, a business continuity and emergency preparedness consulting firm based in Portland, Maine, has acquired Continuity Dynamics, a disaster recovery consultancy based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.

Founded in 2015, Readiness Associates focuses on helping healthcare sector clients prepare for emergencies, particularly in relation to The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) compliance. The firm has experience in projects across areas such as disaster response, active shooter, ammonia leaks, shelter-in-place, and evacuation drills, among other areas.

Readiness Associates has consulting offerings across risk assessment, emergency plans, policies & procedures, communication plans, and training & testing.

The acquisition of Continuity Dynamics marks the first deal for Readiness Associates, which will grow its team of eight with an additional three members.

Founded in 2006, Continuity Dynamics delivers services and solutions in business continuity, disaster recovery, supply chain management, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, governance, serving clients in the public-private sector and the SMB (small medium business) market. The consulting firm has also provided pandemic planning internationally in the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and other countries.

Together, the combined firm will focus on supporting the healthcare industry through the Covid-19 pandemic. The firm will transition to the name of “Readiness Associates powered by Continuity Dynamics” by the end of the year.
