IT consultancy Magenic hires Dustin Kangas as cloud technology leader

Magenic, a Minneapolis-headquartered IT consulting firm, has hired experienced cloud consultant Dustin Kangas as its first chief cloud technology officer. He will be based in Denver.

Kangas brings over 20 years of leadership and architecture experience to the role, where he will be tasked with overseeing and advancing the firm’s cloud transformation offering. He will work alongside Magenic’s longtime CTO Rocky Lhotka, who will now focus his full attention on growing the company’s software application development business.

Kangas joins Magnetic from the Denver office of IT consulting giant CGI, where he spent the last 18 years and most recently served as a director. The firm’s advisory offering covers business analysis, project management, and cybersecurity assessment and training.

Magenic has US offices in Minneapolis, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Irvine, CA, as well as an international office in the Philippines.
