Atos acquires US Salesforce consultancy Eagle Creek

France-based technology consultancy Atos has acquired Eagle Creek, a Salesforce specialist based in Minnesota.

Eagle Creek was founded in 1999 and is based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. The IT consultancy focuses on enterprise customer relationship management (CRM), application development, and business intelligence integration and support. Eagle Creek is a Salesforce Gold Partner, and has completed more than 700 Salesforce and CRM certifications for large enterprises across the healthcare, financial services, and communication sectors.

The firm has more than 250 employees across four offices in Minnesota and the Dakotas.

“The acquisition of Eagle Creek and their specific expertise in Salesforce will bolster our digital portfolio in North America and worldwide,” said Bryan Ireton, CEO of Atos in North America. “It will provide us the opportunity to develop a world-class Atos Salesforce franchise and provides us an ability to help clients manage and maximize their customer interactions, and providing them the means to add more value while also improving customer satisfaction.”

Paris-based Atos is one of the larger global technology consulting firms, with 110,000 employees in 73 countries and annual revenue of €12 billion.

The company recently reported its Q3 revenues, which dropped 3.5% year-over-year (YoY). Its revenues in the prior quarter dropped 4.8% YoY as the coronavirus pandemic began to upend the global economy. Atos reported fee contractions in every region except Northern Europe, which registered 4.3% growth in Q3 on the back of strong performance in the public and TMT sectors.

In addition to Eagle Creek, the company also announced its intention to acquire SEC Consult Group, an Austria-based cybersecurity specialist with 250 employees, and Edifixio, a France-based consulting and integration company with 370 employees.

Atos earlier this year acquired Miner & Kasch, a Baltimore-based firm specializing in data science consulting.
