AArete adds healthcare consultants Leslie Lotano-Saba and Paul Vosters
Management consultancy AArete has added healthcare sector consultants Leslie Lotano-Saba and Paul Vosters.
Lotano-Saba joins the firm’s New York office as vice president of pharmacy solutions. In the role, she will focus on strategic profitability improvement and advisory solutions, solving operational challenges for health plans, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), technology, and clinical care organizations.
Lotano-Saba brings more than 35 years of pharmacy experience, with a focus on government programs (Medicare, Medicaid) with healthcare payers and PBMs. She previously was an independent pharmacy industry consultant, and was COO of CSS Health, a medication therapy management (MTM) company, between 2015 and 2017.
Before that she spent 10 years at health insurance firm Amerigroup (now Anthem), where she was VP of pharmacy, overseeing the pharmacy program for the commercial, exchange, Medicare, and Medicaid businesses. Lotano-Saba also spent seven years as VP of pharmacy at Horizon NJ Health, the largest Medicaid managed care HMO in New Jersey.
Before entering healthcare management and consulting, she was chief pharmacist at Medco and a supervising pharmacist at CVS. She holds an MS in healthcare administration from Clarkson University and a BS in pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
Vosters joins the Chicago office as a managing director in the health payer industry practice, where he will advise health plans, administrators, and other health services organizations. He brings more than three decades of healthcare sector experience, with a focus on IT systems.
For the last 12 years he co-founded and served as COO of LaunchPoint, a company that delivers cloud-based payment integrity solutions to healthcare payers. Before that, he spent six years at Knightsbridge Solucient, where he built and led a consulting practice of 250+ professionals dedicated to serving healthcare clients.
Earlier in his career, Vosters spent 15 years at medical devices firm Baxter’s European operations, latterly serving as director of infrastructure systems. In the role, he developed and implemented a new European IS strategy for infrastructure systems, logistics, finance, and customer service.
Vosters holds a bachelor’s degree in social science and IT from Université libre de Bruxelles.
