Engineering consultancy Braun Intertec has acquired Anderson Kelsey Group (AKG), a Minneapolis-based boutique environmental consulting firm.

AKG helps industrial, healthcare, and retail clients develop environmental compliance strategies, complete permit applications, implement corrective action programs, identify staffing requirements, and train facility employees. Some of the firm’s recent work includes helping healthcare facilities design hazardous waste management programs, supporting a client with a nationwide environmental compliance program, and delivering environmental reporting for a retailer with 1,800 US locations.

The consultancy is led by Paul Anderson and William Kelsey, who together have more than 35 years of experience advising industrial and healthcare facilities on environmental, health, and safety matters. The AKG team also includes environmental manager Jake Hartman.
