BerryDunn acquires healthcare consultancy VantagePoint
BerryDunn, a national accounting and consulting firm, has acquired VantagePoint Healthcare Advisors, a Hamden, CT-based healthcare consulting firm. The transaction closed on January 1, 2021.
Founded in 1994, VantagePoint provides consulting, compliance, and credentialing services to healthcare providers in hospital systems, medical groups, and nonprofits. The firm’s experts deliver consulting services in revenue cycle, executive management, operations, and due diligence. On the compliance end, VantagePoint delivers risk assessment, litigation support, audits, and other services. The firm also offers a full range of credentialing, enrolment, and PSV, from application gathering to ongoing sanctions monitoring.
VantagePoint is led by owners Helen Hadley and Susan Prior, who together have more than 55 years of industry experience. The consulting firm has more than 20 employees, according to LinkedIn.
BerryDunn’s acquisition of VantagePoint will expand the firm’s healthcare consulting practice, and extend its reach in southern New England. The merger will add a second Connecticut location, complementing BerryDunn’s office in Hartford.
VantagePoint will operate under the BerryDunn brand.

The Portland, ME-headquartered consultancy has been providing auditing and consulting services to the healthcare industry for more than 40 years, advising on data analytics, technology, and Medicaid, among other areas.
“To be able to continue to grow and offer our existing clients additional services and expertise via this merger is very exciting,” said Helen Hadley, founder and CEO of VantagePoint.
