AArete promotes Elizabeth Levy and John Haffey to managing director

AArete, a Chicago-headquartered management and technology consultancy, has promoted Elizabeth Levy and John Haffey to managing director. The firm also announced nine promotions to director.

Based in Chicago, Levy advises healthcare payer clients on strategic profitability improvement. She has helped numerous health plans across product segments improve financial and operation performance through data-driven insights.

Levy joined AArete as a consultant in 2016. She previously spent two years at IT consultancy Upp Technology, where she was a senior healthcare analyst. At Upp, Levy specialized in the implementation of cloud-based applications and revenue cycle solutions for provider offices throughout the US.

She holds a BBA in marketing and finance from Loyola University of Chicago, and is currently completing an MBA at DePaul University.

Based in Los Angeles, Haffey also specializes in helping healthcare clients improve efficiency and reduce costs. He has experience delivering process and profitability improvement advisory to clients in a range of industries.

Before joining AArete in 2018 as a director, Haffey spent more than five years at management consultancy Optimity Advisors, where he was latterly a senior manager. Prior to that, he spent nearly three years at Booz Allen as a senior consultant, and three years at Clark Construction as a project engineer.

Haffey holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and foreign affairs from the University of Virginia.

AArete also promoted the following employees to director: SueEllen Carroll, Mike Cavanagh, Mike Faraone, Don Maag, Dominique Parris, Brian Poulter, Annie Ray, Matt Semetulskis, and Matt Trimble.
