Nordic, a Madison, WI-based healthcare consulting firm, has acquired Bails & Associates, a Canonsburg, PA-based consulting firm specializing in Infor enterprise resource planning (ERP) software consulting.

Founded in 1997 by Jamie Bails, Bails & Associates specializes in Infor CloudSuite application and technical consulting, helping clients improve their finance, supply chain, and human resources functions. The company has offerings across planning and management, migrations and upgrades, technical support, change management, staff enablement, and managed services.

Bails & Associates has served more than 1,000 clients across a range of industries, with a concentration on healthcare. The firm has more than 50 employees, according to LinkedIn.

Nordic’s acquisition of Bail & Associates will bolster the firm’s Infor consulting practice. Nordic is an Infor Alliance and Delivery Partner, and its IT consulting team delivers migration, implementation, enablement, and managed services.

"We're proud to welcome Bails to Nordic's growing family of companies," said Jim Costanzo, CEO of Nordic. "Together, we'll help solve for the complex integration challenges facing healthcare organizations. By combining Bails' expert ERP capabilities with Nordic's deep experience in advisory consulting, health IT staffing, and managed services, we'll enable greater efficiencies that drive better business outcomes for healthcare organizations."

Bails & Associates will continue to be led by Jamie Bails, and will maintain its current office in Canonsburg, PA. The firm will also retain its branding as it joins the Nordic family of companies – which includes Tasman Global, a Europe-based electronic health records consultancy, and Healthtech Consultants, a Canada-based healthcare IT consultancy.

Nordic acquired Tasman in 2020 and Healthtech in 2019. The firm also acquired the revenue cycle transformation practice of The Claro Group in 2018.

"From its commitment to quality to its focus on company culture, Nordic values the same priorities we do as an employer and as a partner,” said Bails. "We look forward to tapping into our combined strengths to deliver transformational results for our clients."

Nordic will now have a client roster of approximately 550 organizations.

Founded in 2010, Nordic has more than 900 employees across North America and Europe. The firm provides health IT staffing, advisory consulting, and managed services.
