Deloitte US has appointed Jana Arbanas as leader of the national telecom, media, and entertainment (TM&E) sector.

Arbanas, who has been with Deloitte for 20 years, succeeds Kevin Westcott, who was recently named head of the technology, media, and telecom (TMT) industry.

In her new role, Arbanas will lead strategic direction for the TM&E sector and shape go-to-market strategies for Deloitte’s audit, consulting, tax, and advisory businesses. She will oversee a team of more than 3,000 professionals that work with the majority of TM&E companies in the Fortune 500.

"Jana is taking on this important leadership role as a new, post-pandemic reality is emerging in TM&E, one where providers must adopt creative strategies and agile approaches in order to engage with and retain customers, and telecom companies must help customers envision what's possible as advanced networking technologies like 5G become a reality," said Westcott. “I am confident she will bring innovative thinking and inspirational leadership to this role as she has throughout her entire career at Deloitte."
