Turnkey Consulting launches joint venture with Legion Star
UK-based risk management consultancy Turnkey Consulting has expanded its US footprint through a joint venture agreement with Legion Star, a Chicago-based IT consultancy with a similar focus on enterprise risk management.
Founded in 2017, Legion Star provides consulting services in identity management, cloud, and enterprise resource planning (ERP). The platform-agnostic consultancy helps clients in a range of industries plan, deploy, and manage cloud access security; migrate to the cloud; and implement and manage new ERP systems in human capital management.
The Chicago-based firm, which also provides managed services hybrid cloud management and ERP application security, has completed more than 100 successful implementations. Legion Star has 11 employees, according to LinkedIn.
Turnkey’s joint venture agreement with Legion Star will expand its identity and access management (IAM), integrated risk management (IRM), and cyber and application security services to more clients in the US market and better enable the London-headquartered firm to service its global clients with US operations.Turnkey, which has a San Francisco location, previously used a partnership model in the US for several years. Growing the US portion of its business is a “core strategic objective,” according to a press release from the consultancy.
"Building on our current footprint in the US the relationship with Legion Star should deliver results to meet our long term goals for growth,” Richard Hunt, managing director at Turnkey Consulting, said. “However, scaling up our operations needs to be undertaken carefully; it's a key but complex market which makes it critical to ensure we work with a trusted partner that is the right fit.”
Turnkey conducted six months of research and due diligence before selecting Legion Star, citing the firm’s IAM capabilities, alignment of service offerings, and similar culture.
The pair of firms will work together to drive new business in North America and offer new services to clients globally. Aside from facilitating mutual client introductions, the joint venture partners will also collaborate on joint marketing initiatives, including a lead generation and acquisition campaign.
Turnkey was founded in 2004 and has more than 100 employees across offices in the UK, France, Germany, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the US. Aside from advising on IAM, IRM, and cybersecurity, the firm also provides managed services in cybersecurity for the SAP platform.
