Amie Rowe joins Vantage Leadership as senior consultant
Amie Rowe, PhD, has joined Vantage Leadership, a Chicago-based consultancy specializing in the selection, integration, and development of leaders. The new senior consultant will be based in Detroit.
Rowe brings more than 25 years of experience as a management consultant and internal corporate executive specializing in executive coaching, leadership development, executive and team assessment, and culture change.
She was previously a senior coach and facilitator at Hogan Assessment Systems, director of talent management at research firm Market Strategies, and an executive assessment expert at HR consultancy Development Dimensions International. Rowe has also run her own HR consultancy for the last seven years.
Earlier in her career, Rowe was a consultant at human capital consultancy Korn Ferry.
She holds a doctorate and master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Texas A&M University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology and business from Concordia University Ann Arbor.
“Along with her passion for collaboration and helping others achieve their potential, Amie is an established trusted advisor to senior executives and the teams they lead,” said Keith Goudy, managing partner of Vantage Leadership Consulting. “She is an expert in the use of the Hogan Assessment suite and is another strong addition to our roster of second-to-none leadership, coaching, and performance practitioners.”
Founded in 1976, Vantage provides services in selection and development assessments, executive coaching, leadership competency models, successional planning, high-performance teams, and culture audits, among other offerings. The firm has more than 40 employees, according to LinkedIn.
“I am excited to work with this team of talented individuals who care deeply about doing great work for their clients,” said Rowe. “I look forward to gaining a wonderful group of colleagues and working collaboratively to make a positive impact in our field.”
Rowe is Vantage’s sixth senior-level hire in the last two years. The firm also welcomed David Brinkley, former CHRO of Whirlpool, as a senior advisor in 2019, and Mary Becker, former VP of business development at HR consultancy Lee Hecht Harrison, as a client partner in 2020.
Vantage grew during the pandemic as clients sought new leadership skills to retain key workers, according to Goudy. “As the economy emerges from the recession, our firm is ready to best serve our clients to prepare for a different future of business and the imminent war for talent,” he added.
