Eliassen Group adds three senior leaders

Eliassen Group, a national consulting and talent solutions firm, has hired Sally Bauer as SVP of cloud services; Michael Lane as SVP of risk management and business optimization; and Robert Conder as regional VP for the Southeast.

In the newly created role of SVP of cloud services, Sally Bauer will lead a practice that supports clients with cloud readiness, migration, and modernization.

Bauer brings more than 30 years of experience with a focus on IT consulting and financial services IT. She joins Eliassen from Accenture, where she spent three years and served as West market unit lead for Cloud First Design. In the role, Bauer focused on leading engagements in application migration, modernization, infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and business agility.

Before that, she was VP of IT business solutions at banking co-op BECU and director of IT development at insurance firm Mutual of Enumclaw. Bauer also previously spent 14 years at Bank of America, where she was latterly VP of e-commerce for the Northwest.

As SVP of risk management and business optimization, Michael Lane will help organizations manage risks, adapt to market pressure, and keep pace with shifting regulations. He will also be tasked with expanding these service lines.

Lane brings more than 30 years of professional experience. He previously spent six years at Nevco, a manufacturer of video displays, first serving as EVP of sales and marketing before being promoted to president and CEO. Before that, he spent eight years at Protiviti, a risk and technology consulting specialist, where he was a managing director.

Earlier in his career, Lane was chief information officer at Spartech Corporation, an Ohio-based plastics company.

As regional VP for the Southeast, Robert Conder will lead the largest region in Eliassen’s talent solutions business. He will work on expanding the firm’s markets in Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Raleigh, and Central Florida.

Conder joins Eliassen from recruitment firm Randstad Technologies US, where he spent the last 16 years. He most recently served as VP of sales, and before that was regional market director and a managing director.

Before Randstad, Conder was a national account manager at Adecco Technical, another recruitment firm.

Headquartered in Reading, MA, Eliassen has more than 800 management consultants and recruiters across 21 US offices. The firm serves clients in a range of industries, including life sciences, financial services, energy, and government.

The firm earlier this year acquired The Evanston Group, a Chicago-based life sciences consulting firm with more than 50 employees.
