AlixPartners adds Eric Nelsen as managing director in Houston
AlixParners has hired Eric Nelsen, a seasoned management consultant, as a managing director in its Houston office.
Nelsen brings more than 30 years of consulting experience, with expertise driving revenue and growth in the oil & gas and other industries.
Nelsen has led engagements across growth planning, new offering development, post-merger strategy and integration, operations design and implementation, and change management, among other areas. He has completed client projects throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
He joins AlixPartners from Oliver Wyman/Mercer Management Consulting, where he spent the last 29 years (the two firms were merged together by parent company Marsh in 2007). Nelsen most recently served as a Chicago-based partner in Oliver Wyman’s oil & gas practice, where he focused on client engagements in strategy and operations.He holds an MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.

The consulting firm earlier this year hired cybersecurity expert Beth Musumeci as a managing director.
