Emerton promotes Nicolas Weissberg to partner in New York

Global strategic consulting firm Emerton has promoted Nicolas Weissberg to partner in its New York office. 

Nicolas Weissberg brings over a dozen years of strategy consulting experience to the partnership, focused on supporting mid- and large-sized companies with the identification of their competitive advantages and the definition of their growth strategies in the consumer, media and industrial goods sectors. 

After graduating from HEC School of Management in Paris, he started his career in the industry at OC&C Strategy Consultants, where he spent nearly nine years working from its offices in Paris and New York. Late 2016 he joined Emerton, a boutique player with around 80 strategy consultants and staff across offices in Paris, New York, Munich and Tokyo. 

“Since joining our team, Nicolas has contributed to many projects for Fortune 100 companies and private equity firms in the US. Across sectors, Nicolas has a particular interest in helping French companies enter (organically or through M&A) and/or successfully develop their business in the US market,” said Dan Dannenberg, Managing Partner of Emerton in North America (also ex-OC&C).

Dannenberg also pointed at Weissberg’s track record in the transactions space. “Nicolas been involved in many successful transactions, both on the buy and sale sides. By focusing on what really matters in the investment thesis, he works with clients to thoroughly assess the strategic value of potential acquisition targets.” 

“Outside of client work, Nicolas is also heavily invested in the development of our New York office by playing a major role in the recruitment and training of our team.” 

Emerton first launched stateside in 2015. Last year the US office also welcomed Pete Killian as a partner.
