Kingspan Light and Air selects GEP Smart for procurement optimization
Kingspan Light and Air, a daylighting and ventilation product manufacturer, has selected GEP Smart software to help analyze its direct and indirect spend.
Kingspan Light and Air manufactures innovative products for daylighting and ventilation for low-carbon buildings. The division’s products include skylights, translucent wall and roof assemblies, smoke vents, and roof safety products. It is a part of Kingspan Group, a large Ireland-based building materials company.
After a competitive selection process, Kingspan Light and Air has selected GEP Smart’s spend analysis software to analyze and identify savings opportunities and gain insights into direct and indirect spend opportunities.
GEP Smart is a cloud-native platform that helps large organizations drive efficiency, agility, visibility, and actionable intelligence into all procurement and purchasing functions. It can integrate with third-party systems including SAP, Oracle, and other major ERP platforms.
Apart from software, Clark, NJ-based GEP also provides consulting and managed services for supply chain and procurement. The firm has more than 5,000 employees and works with Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies worldwide.
“Kingspan Light + Air is excited with the potential to leverage opportunities identified by the GEP SMART software and the professionals at GEP. We look forward with working with them to create the promised added value through our supply chain,” Hamish Manks, head of divisional procurement at Kingspan Light and Air, said.
GEP also this month announced that it had gained a Dubai-based airline as a GEP Smart customer.
Earlier this year, GEP also signed on Husqvarna and McCarthy Holdings as users of its procurement software.
