Danelle Larsen joins FTI Consulting as managing director in LA
Danelle Larsen, an experienced financial executive and interim manager, has joined FTI Consulting’s Los Angeles office as a managing director in the corporate finance & restructuring segment.
Larsen brings more than 20 years of strategic, financial, operational, and restructuring experience to FTI, where she will serve in the firm’s CFO office practice. She has industry expertise in consumer products, agriculture, manufacturing, life sciences and healthcare, and entertainment and hospitality.
Larsen spent the last two-and-a-half years at finance advisory firm 8020 Consulting as an interim manager. Her engagements included serving as interim controller at Mission Produce, an international agricultural company, and interim treasurer at Bolthouse Farms, a $700-million consumer packaged goods and agriculture company.
Before that, Larsen served as CFO of food and beverage brands Uptime Energy and Wanu Water. She also previously served as an interim manager at THQ in the aftermath of the video game company’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy and liquidation.
Larsen’s first tenure at FTI was between 2004 and 2013, latterly serving as a managing director in the firm’s interim management practice. She started her career at PwC, where she spent three years as a senior associate in the firm’s corporate finance practice.
Larsen holds an MBA from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from UCLA.
“I am delighted for Danelle to rejoin FTI Consulting,” said Gina Gutzeit, leader of the CFO office practice at FTI Consulting. “CFOs face increased challenges and demands from boards of directors, stakeholders, and other internal and external sources alike. Danelle’s diverse experience driving financial strategies and solutions make her a great asset to our Office of the CFO Solutions team and our ability to deliver impactful results for our clients.”
Larsen added, “I am excited to rejoin FTI Consulting in the Office of the CFO Solutions practice and leverage my unique set of experiences to continue building our presence on the West Coast.”
FTI earlier this year added Cecily Gooch and Miriam Wrobel as managing directors in its corporate finance & restructuring segment.
