NTT Data Services, the Texas-based division of Japanese IT consultancy NTT Data, has acquired Chainalytics, an Atlanta-based supply chain consulting firm.

Founded in 2001, Chainalytics provides supply chain consulting and managed analytics services to clients in a wide range of industries. The firm’s advisory offerings span supply chain design, integrated demand and supply planning, transportation, packaging optimization, supply chain operations, and service supply chain. Chainalytics also delivers managed analytics services in supply chain network design, planning, and transportation.

Chainalytics has more than 200 people across seven offices in the US, Finland, Italy, The Netherlands, and India.

NTT Data’s acquisition of Chainalytics will strengthen the firm’s supply chain consulting capabilities as demand for advisory services in the area remains high amid pandemic disruption.
