BRG hires Clay Willis as director in health analytics practice

Consulting firm Berkeley Research Group (BRG) has hired Clay Willis as a Washington, DC-based director in its health analytics practice.

Willis brings more than 15 years of consulting experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare industries. He has deep expertise in government programs, operations, compliance, and reimbursement.

Willis has led compliance and operational assessments in current state processes, data, people, and systems used by manufacturers and has helped numerous pharma companies optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining compliance. He has also advised on product launches, pricing and contracting changes, and data analytics and reporting.

"Clay's expertise spans several areas that our Health Analytics practice focuses on, allowing BRG to provide a more robust offering to our clients," said Tri MacDonald, principal executive officer and president of BRG. "He is an excellent addition to the practice."

Willis joins BRG from Deloitte, where he spent the last four-and-a-half years as a senior manager. Before that, he spent 11 years at Huron Consulting Group, where he was latterly a director.

He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from College of Charleston.

BRG is based in Emeryville, California and advises on disputes and investigations, corporate finance, and strategy and operations. The firm has more than 1,200 professionals across offices in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific regions.

BRG recently welcomed two new managing directors to its Miami office: Andres Chambouleyron, PhD, and Rodolfo Pittaluga, Jr.
