Seraph promotes Thomas Kowal to president
Seraph, a Las Vegas-headquartered supply chain and manufacturing turnaround consulting firm, has promoted Thomas Kowal to president.
Kowal, who is based in Troy, MI, will “lead the development of strategies to steer clients through difficult projects, urgent crises, and periods of reorganization.”
Kowal has nearly two decades of experience in the automotive manufacturing space, having joined Seraph in 2019 as VP of business development.
He previously was a sales director at auto parts firms TI Automotive and Magneti Marelli. Earlier in his career, Kowal spent over a decade at Brose Group, where he was a plant manager. At Brose, he launched multiple plants and doubled sales turnover.
Kowal has a master’s degree in science and business from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in aviation science and administration from Western Michigan University.
"As re-shoring and fundamental changes to the global supply chain continue to impact operations and manufacturing in North America, the solutions-focused expertise that Seraph brings to the table is in high demand," said Ambrose Conroy, Seraph's founder. "As Seraph celebrates its 10th year helping our clients solve some of their most critical challenges, Thomas is the ideal leader to ensure we continue to deliver for our clients while we grow our business.”
Seraph works with automotive, manufacturing, medical device, energy, and electronics companies on engagements in restructuring and turnaround, crisis management, engineering excellence, equity and due diligence, and relocation and consolidation. The firm has more than 45 professionals across offices in Las Vegas, Troy, and Dublin, Ireland.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead Seraph's strong team in delivering exceptional results at an extraordinary time for manufacturing," said Kowal. "Our data driven, operational, hands-on approach to problem solving that improves our clients' performance sets us apart. I look forward to growing our capabilities, our team and our client base."
