MorganFranklin Consulting, a Washington, DC-based management consulting firm, has hired Michael Orozco as a managing director and advisory services leader for the cybersecurity practice.

Orozco brings more than two decades of experience in cyber defense, cyber risk mitigation, financial crime, incident response, and regulatory compliance. He has deep expertise working with management and boards to solve challenges in digital transformation and operations modernization.

Orozco has led projects for clients in financial services and life sciences, among others, across the US, Latin America, and Europe.

He was previously a partner leading cybersecurity, risk, and resilience engagements for KPMG. He also previously held global leadership positions at Accenture and other consulting firms, where he built and led global teams focused on security programs.

Orozco has CISA, CDPSE, CGEIT, CRISC, PMP, and AWS certified solution architect professional credentials.
