Argano acquires Oracle specialist NorthPoint Group
Argano, a Plano, TX-based technology consultancy, has acquired NorthPoint Group, a Boise, ID-based Oracle consulting firm.
Founded in 2006, NorthPoint provides services in roadmapping, implementation, and managed support for Oracle ERP Cloud software (core finance, planning and budgeting, procurement, project financial management, and inventory optimization) and HCM Cloud (human resources, payroll, time and labor, talent management, benefits and compensation, and talent acquisition). The firm also supports Oracle platform-as-a-service technologies, including Fusion Analytics Warehouse.
NorthPoint has more than 60 employees across the US and Mexico, according to LinkedIn.
Argano’s acquisition of NorthPoint will strengthen its Oracle team, which works with clients to improve products and services while moving from legacy systems to the cloud.
"Welcoming NorthPoint marks another exciting milestone for Argano as we continue to expand our capabilities," said Chip Register, CEO of Argano and formerly co-CEO of Publicis Sapient. "Their best-in-class Oracle HCM knowledge and experience further increase our depth and talent, supporting our commitment to being the premier transformation partner in building digital foundations that drive value across our clients' entire businesses."
The transaction builds on Argano’s December acquisition of CSS, a Charleston, SC-based Oracle Platinum Partners with expertise across ERP, JD Edwards, and EBS.
"Combining NorthPoint's success and expertise in Oracle Cloud HCM and ERP with Argano's integrated business model will provide Oracle customers a cohesive and unmatched depth of experience to adopt their investment across Oracle's multi-pillar offerings," said Jeff Curtis, president and COO of NorthPoint Group.
Argano was formed in a partnership between Register and private equity firm Trinity Hunt Partners in May 2021. The firm has quickly expanded via M&A, adding tech consultancies including MS3, CSS, aMind, SCMO2, Arbela Technologies, United Virtualities, InterRel, and Keste.
Argano provides consulting services in e-commerce, customer relationship management, supply chain management, enterprise resource planning, and enterprise performance management systems. The firm works with clients in manufacturing, retail and consumer, healthcare and life sciences, financial services, technology, engineering and construction, and the public sector.
Argano has more than 1,300 employees, according to LinkedIn.
