Liberty Advisor Group adds Peter Conway as partner

Liberty Advisory Group, a Chicago-based management consulting firm, has welcomed Peter Conway as a partner.

The firm – which specializes in operational improvement and M&A – said the hiring was part of its long-term strategy to accelerate growth and bolster services.

Conway brings more than 25 years of strategy consulting and industry experience. He has deep expertise successfully growing businesses through strategy, digital, implementation, and outsourcing.

Conway joins Liberty from Accenture’s Chicago office, where he spent the last four years as a managing director. Before that, he spent over five years as a principal at PwC’s Strategy&, where he led engagements for the engineered products and services practice.

Conway also previously held strategy and business development leadership roles at Saint Gobain Performance Plastics and Fortune Brands Home & Security. Earlier in his career, Conway was an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton and a senior corporate analyst at Toyota Motor Sales, USA.

He has an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan.

Liberty has more than 50 employees listed on LinkedIn and provides services in business and technology strategy, operational improvement, M&A, transformation and assurance, cybersecurity, and data and analytics. The firm has worked on more than 1,000 M&A and carveout projects and realized $1 billion in operating income improvement for clients. Liberty has worked with large manufacturing and energy companies.
