Tiffany Pankratz-Umbehr joins SGS Maine Pointe as EVP
Tiffany Pankratz-Umbehr has joined SGS Maine Pointe as a Houston-based executive vice president in the firm’s consumer goods and retail practice.
Pankratz-Umbehr brings more than 18 years of experience in consumer products, industrial manufacturing, and retail to the role, where she will create and lead initiatives to solve complex problems in production optimization, maintenance and reliability, logistics and warehouse management, management systems, supply chain optimization, sourcing, S&OP, and network optimization.
Pankratz-Umbehr joins SGS Maine Pointe from Accenture, where she spent the last five years as a business development executive in the Industry X.0 practice. Before that, she spent over two years in a business development role within EY’s consumer, retail, and industrial products sector – developing and maintaining client relationships throughout the US Southwest region.
Before that, Pankratz-Umbehr owned and ran a women’s clothing boutique with two locations in the Kansas City area. Earlier in her career, she held product development and sales manager roles at Bushnell and The Hayes Company, respectively.
Pankratz-Umbehr has an executive MBA from Rice University and a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship and marketing from Wichita State University.
“The consumer goods and retail industries are seeing continued complexities after pandemic impacts, impacts from geopolitics, inflation, and a looming recession,” said Jeff Staub, CEO of SGS Maine Pointe. “Tiffany’s leadership and industry insights, and her history of being a trusted advisor to clients, will be essential in helping our clients not only overcome these challenges successfully but continue to thrive and grow in the future.”
Headquartered in Boston, SGS Maine Pointe’s consultants advise clients in a range of sectors on operational and supply chain improvement. The firm is part of SGS, a Swiss multinational inspection, verification, testing, and certification company.
“I am looking forward to working with SGS Maine Pointe’s clients to make a difference, generate ROI, and create strategies to solve their most complex problems,” said Pankratz-Umbehr. “I am especially excited about SGS Maine Pointe’s culture, the way we work with clients, and the difference it will make to them.”
SGS Maine Pointe earlier this year hired Kevin Krot as EVP of its aerospace and defense industry practice.
