Korn Ferry, a global organizational consultancy, has acquired Infinity Consulting Solutions, a New York-headquartered staffing and recruiting firm.

Founded in 2001, Infinity Consulting specializes in filling senior-level IT interim professional roles, with additional expertise in compliance and legal, accounting and finance, and human resources positions.

The firm has over 400 people across nine US offices, according to LinkedIn.

Korn Ferry’s acquisition of Infinity will add a large network of senior IT professionals and deep relationships with a diverse mix of clients across industries.

“Our clients have entered a new reality where shortages of skilled labor are projected to persist, particularly in high-demand areas such as IT,” Gary Burnison, CEO of Korn Ferry, said. “Korn Ferry’s acquisition of ICS echoes our commitment to scale our solutions and further increase our focus at the intersection of talent and strategy – wherever and however the needs of organizations evolve.”

Korn Ferry earlier this year bought Patina Solutions, a Milwaukee-based executive search firm, and last year acquired Lucas Group, an Atlanta-headquartered professional search and contract staffing firm.

“Our track record of success and deep interim professional solutions expertise, combined with Korn Ferry’s expansive organizational consulting credentials, will give us even greater opportunities to deliver client and colleague impact,” said Doug Klares, CEO of Infinity Consulting Solutions.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, Korn Ferry provides services in talent acquisition, organizational strategy, rewards and benefits, assessment and succession, and leadership development. The firm has 10,000 people in 50+ countries.
