Nardello & Co. opens Los Angeles office
Nardello & Co., a global investigations consultancy, has opened an office in Los Angeles.
Located at 1901 Avenue of the Stars in Century City, the LA branch is Nardello’s third in the United States, complementing the firm’s New York headquarters and a location in Washington, DC. Nardello also has international offices in London, Dubai, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
“It’s a natural next step for us to establish a California presence in response to our growing client demands on the West Coast,” said Dan Nardello, chairman and CEO of Nardello & Co. “Especially when it comes to the most sensitive matters, our on the ground expertise and talent is critical, even in an increasingly virtual world.”
The consultancy has tapped managing director Amie Chang to lead the LA office. Chang previously led Nardello’s Hong Kong office and has spent the last 10+ years living and working in Asia.
The LA native has deep expertise in overseeing due diligence investigations, providing litigation support, and working on political risk engagements in China.
Prior to joining Nardello’s Hong Kong office in 2016, Chang spent over two years at FTI Consulting, where she was a director in the global risk and investigations practice. Before that, she spent eight years with the US government, including stints as an intelligence analyst at the Department of Defense and as a diplomat at the Department of State.
Chang has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Boston College.
“Returning to my hometown has been professionally and personally rewarding,” said Chang. “I look forward to applying the investigative skills I’ve honed in Asia to help companies in the US with increasingly complex and evolving international matters.”
Founded in 2003, Nardello & Co. supports clients with services in anti-fraud and corruption investigations, due diligence, litigation and arbitration support, compliance, and political risk and strategic intelligence, among other areas. The consultancy works with law firms, financial institutions, large corporations, NGOs, governments, academic institutions, and family offices.
Nardello last year added John Auerbach as a New York-based managing director.
