OC&C Strategy Consultants promotes Ye Chen to partner
OC&C Strategy Consultants has promoted Ye Chen to partner, alongside three other new partners across its global footprint.
Based in the firm’s New York office, Chen has been at OC&C since being hired as an associate consultant in 2012.
A member of the firm’s technology, media, and telecom (TMT) sector, Chen focuses on supporting blue chip corporates and “digital native” startups in media and entertainment, consumer internet, and marketing technology. He has deep expertise advising on growth strategy, proposition design, due diligence, and value creation.
Chen has completed engagements worldwide with clients in digital publishing, online marketplaces, TV and OTT, sports and marketing technology, as well as numerous buy-side and vendor due diligence projects for private equity investors.
Chen has a master’s degree in engineering, economics, and management from the University of Oxford.
OC&C also appointed Jan Bergmann (Munich, leisure and hospitality), Jean-Baptise Brachet (Paris, consumer and retail), and John Franklin (London, retail and leisure) as partners.
“We are delighted to welcome Jan, Jean-Baptiste, Ye, and John to the Partnership,” said Will Hayllar, global managing partner, OC&C. “Supporting talented people to develop into excellent strategic advisors to our clients is at the core of our business and they all embody that. Their spread of sectors and locations reflects the strong growth of OC&C around the world. We look forward to having them in our Partner team, working together to shape competitively advantaged strategies for our clients and nurturing the next generation of talent in our business.”
