Xebia appoints Anand Sahay as global CEO

Xebia, an Atlanta-based global IT consulting firm, has promoted Anand Sahay to global CEO.

Sahay will now lead the global footprint of the formerly Netherlands-headquartered company. Since its founding in 2001, Xebia has grown to more than 5,000 people across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific – including over 3,000 employees in five delivery centers in India.

Based in Delhi, Sahay joined Xebia in 2014 as CEO (a title shared by colleagues Andrew de la Haije and Wojtek Gurgul) to drive the firm’s international expansion. Prior to joining Xebia, Sahay was a vice president at Interglobe and a general manager at HCL Technologies. He began his career as a software programmer at Tata Consultancy Services.

Sahay has an MBA from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, India.

Xebia provides services in digital strategy, agile transformation, data and AI, DevOps, cloud, low-code, and Microsoft solutions to a wide range of industries. The firm works with more than 500 clients, including leading companies such as Disney, Tesco, Philips, and ING..

Xebia last month acquired 47 Degrees, a Seattle-based app development firm. The deal is part of the firm’s ambitious plan to more than triple its US headcount to 1,000 people by 2024.
