Dan Ginsberg rejoins SGS Maine Pointe as managing director

Dan Ginsberg has rejoined SGS Maine Pointe, a supply chain and operations consultancy, as a managing director in the firm’s private equity practice. He is based in New York City.

Ginsberg has more than 20 years of management consulting experience, with expertise across operations, supply chain, performance improvement, and value creation.

For the last decade, he has specialized in advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies on M&A and strategic and operational performance improvement initiatives. Ginsberg has supported growing, stable, and distressed mid-market businesses across more than 250 projects.

He rejoins SGS Maine Pointe from Hilco Performance Solutions/GHValens, where he spent nearly four years as a managing director providing consulting in revenue and margin growth, cost reduction, and working capital optimization.

Between 2014 and 2019, Ginsberg was an EVP in SGS Maine Pointe’s private equity practice in New York. Before that, he held leadership roles at The Hackett Group, Copperridge Group, and Mitchell Madison Group focusing on supply chain engagements.

Earlier in his career, Ginsberg was a senior manager at First Manhattan Consulting Group, a marketing services firm catering to financial services clients.

He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from The George Washington University.
