Good Leadership, a Minneapolis-based leadership consulting boutique, has acquired Interaction Dynamics Group (IDG), a Hollidaysburg, PA-based leadership consultancy.

Founded in 2013 by Kevin Sensenig, IDG provides services in coaching, development, and facilitation of strategy. The firm’s team of eight coaches work with clients across industries to improve strategy, sales, team productivity, leadership culture, employee engagement, and career development.

Sensenig has 30 years of experience in management, leadership, education, and training for businesses. Prior to founding IDG, he was VP of learning and development at Hermann International and VP of organization development at Dale Carnegie & Associates. He has a PhD in organization development from Penn State University and has taught at his alma mater and at St. Francis University.

As part of the transaction, Sensenig will join Good Leadership as president. He will oversee the firm’s marketing and client relationship management, including acquiring new accounts. Sensenig will also oversee leadership development engagements.

“Kevin excels at the art and science of getting teams to work better together to achieve great results, and helping clients better understand their current and future talent-related business needs. We are thrilled to have Kevin join us as Good Leadership’s first president,” Paul Batz, CEO and founder of Good Leadership, said.

Good Leadership was founded by Batz in 2009 and provides consulting services in executive team coaching, board coaching, assessments, research, and surveys. The firm has a team of 18 senior coaches serving domestic and international clients in financial services, professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, and sports and entertainment.

Prior to founding Good Leadership, Batz was president and managing partner of Minneapolis-based MDA Leadership Consulting.

“As most executives and employees know from prior or current experience, when their teams are not aligned, everyone suffers, creating friction, burnout, and turnover,” Sensenig said. “Good Leadership helps teams become better-aligned and improve their performance through a proven, team-based coaching approach that reinforces a ‘win together’ mindset.”
