RSM US appoints Ty Beasley as first chief talent officer
RSM US has appointed Ty Beasley to the newly created role of chief talent officer. He is based in Dallas.
Beasley, who has been with the mid-market accountancy since 1999, will lead the talent organization – including talent acquisition, human resources development, and culture, diversity, and inclusion (CDI) functions.
"I am thrilled to step into this new talent-focused role," said Beasley. “I look forward to bringing together our human resources, learning, recruiting, and inclusion teams under a unified strategy to ensure the experience our people have at RSM is second to none."
Beasley most recently served as leader of RSM’s north Texas market and as talent leader within the firm’s consulting business – overseeing growth, local culture, and strategic priorities in the development and delivery of leadership programming. He served on RSM US’ board of directors from 2019 to 2022 and is a member of the firm’s inclusion council.
Beasley has more than 25 years of regulatory and advisory experience serving the financial services industry, advising institutions on regulatory compliance, internal audit, information technology audits, cybersecurity, and anti-money laundering practices.
He holds an MBA from Webster University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Loyola University in New Orleans. He is also a certified anti-money laundering specialist.
“The talent landscape is increasingly complex and competitive. Ty's history of developing and supporting people, coupled with his leadership and strategy skills, make him the ideal person to lead RSM's talent strategy to new heights," said Brian Becker, managing partner and CEO of RSM US. "Ty has a contagious energy and passion for our people, which will help RSM continue to advance our talent experience through an unrivaled, inclusive culture."
RSM US has approximately 14,700 employees and is the fifth-largest accounting and consulting firm in the United States.
