Turnkey Consulting hires Brian MacFarland to drive North American expansion
Turnkey Consulting, a London-headquartered risk consulting firm, has hired Brian MacFarland as a managing director and head of its North America region.
Based in Atlanta, MacFarland brings more than 20 years of technology and consulting sector experience, with deep expertise strategizing and leading technology implementation companies to improve strategy, process, and execution.
In his new role at Turnkey, will support the firm’s inorganic and organic growth plans in North America – driving key partnerships and expanding the regional team. The British firm has a San Francisco office and has operated in North America for 10 years relying on a partnership model.
"Expanding our presence in North America is a key business objective over the next few years, but it's dependent on the right person heading up our operations,” Richard Hunt, CEO and founder of Turnkey Consulting, said. “Brian combines the empathetic leadership and natural business development skills that we believe are vital for this role. He is well known by our management team – someone who will extend the Turnkey ethos via strong relationships with existing and new partners, and hire and develop new team members to support this."
MacFarland joins Turnkey from HR technology company ADP, where he spent nine years and was latterly VP of implementation. During his tenure, he scaled delivery teams to support nearly threefold growth in sales over four years to $95 million and guided teams through the disruption of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Before that, he spent 13 years at HR/payroll consulting firm NorthgateArinso, now Alight Solutions, where he was latterly director of business transformation for North America.
MacFarland has a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
“Joining Turnkey, a company that is clearly passionate about helping enterprises manage risk in today's highly charged business environment, is an exciting move for me, MacFarland said. “It has a hugely skillful team with which to facilitate that, and one that is committed to working together to enable the organization to achieve its growth goals. This is a great opportunity to join an already successful entity to reinforce and build up its brand in a new market."
Turnkey was founded in 2004 and has more than 150 employees across offices in the UK, France, Germany, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the US. The firm provides consulting in integrated risk management, identity and access management, and cyber and application security.
