Vantage Leadership Consulting promotes Kathrina Dubnicek to CAO

Vantage Leadership Consulting has promoted Kathrina Dubnicek to chief administrative officer. The Chicago-based consultancy also promoted Stephanie Clay to director of HR, learning & development.

In her new role, Dubnicek will manage day-to-day operations of the company and oversee the human resources, benefits, and finance departments.

She has 25 years of experience, including 13 years at Vantage. She previously served as director of finance and HR, responsible for all human resources, including benefits, payroll, recruitment, on-boarding, performance reviews, and subcontractor engagement, as well as overseeing all financials, including full life-cycle bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, client billing, and collections.

Before Vantage, Dubnicek held project, program, and office management roles in the entertainment and legal industries. Her roles included working as assistant to Paula Wagner of Cruise/Wagner Productions, information management coordinator at law firm Cook Alex, and production and administration manager at visual effects studio The Third Floor.

Dubnicek has a bachelor’s degree in communications from DePauw University.

Clay has 15 years of experience and has been at Vantage since 2017. She previously was the firm’s client services coordinator, managing a number of companywide projects focusing on IT and internal events. Before Vantage, Clay was an event and logistics specialist at Summit Professional Education and education department manager at Central Square Theater in Cambridge, MA.

She has a master’s degree in theatre education from Emerson College and a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts from Illinois Wesleyan University.

The firm delivers advisory services in selection and development assessments, executive coaching, leadership competency models, successional planning, high-performance teams, and culture audits, among other offerings. The firm has more than 40 employees, according to LinkedIn.
