Mercer buys digital HR consultancy Leapgen
Mercer, an asset management and human resources consulting firm, has acquired Leapgen, a Minneapolis-based digital HR consulting firm.
Founded in 2017, Leapgen provides consulting and on-demand talent for digital HR and people strategy, HR/workforce solutions deployment, and HR/workforce sustainment and value attainment.
The firm has over 50 employees listed on LinkedIn and has worked with clients including Target, Adobe, and Kohler.
Mercer’s acquisition of Leapgen will strengthen its workforce and HR transformation solutions practice with additional capabilities in HR strategy.
The New York-headquartered consultancy says companies often start with technology implementation – skipping the key step of developing a holistic strategy for their HR and workforce experience. With 63% of companies in a recent Mercer survey planning to spend more on HR technology in 2023, it’s even more important to ensure the correct mix of technology to realize ROI and business goals.

Mercer’s workforce and HR transformation solutions practice has offerings in HR delivery model redesign, digital employee experience, change communications, people strategy, culture, DEI, organization design, flexible working, and IT services for Workday and other HR technologies.
