Turnkey Consulting hires Liane Israel as director of sales in North America
Turnkey Consulting has hired Liane Israel as director of sales in North America as the London-headquartered risk consulting firm targets significant expansion in the region. She is based in Chicago.
Israel brings 18 years of sales leadership and accounting experience to Turnkey, where she will drive sales and business development for the consultancy as it builds out its North American footprint. She will report to Brian MacFarland, who joined the company in January to head up its operations in the region.
Turnkey has a US office in Atlanta and has operated in North America for 10 years relying on a partnership model. The firm plans to significantly expand its regional presence in the next several years with inorganic and organic growth.
"I am thrilled to join the Turnkey team and contribute to its ongoing growth and success," said Israel. "This role will enable me to leverage my experience to help clients optimize their risk management strategies.”
Israel joins Turnkey from procurement software firm SAP Ariba, where she spent nearly four years and was latterly VP of sales. In the role, developed strategic sales plans and forecasts for the US Midwest region and built out and trained a sales team of eight people.
Before that she spent over eight years at parent company SAP, where she was latterly a senior account executive managing sales performance of finance and risk solutions for the Midwest region. Before joining SAP’s Chicago office, Israel was based in the German ERP giant’s London and Dublin offices.
Earlier in her career, Israel held accounting and audit roles at several accounting firms in South Africa, including Horwath Leveton Boner and Smith Yong & Associates. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Africa.
"Liane’s appointment further strengthens our leadership team, and her extensive experience is a great addition to our team,” Richard Hunt, CEO of Turnkey Consulting, said. “She will play a key role in helping us deliver on our mission to make the world a safer place to do business by providing our clients with the security and peace of mind they need to focus on their core business objectives.”
Turnkey was founded in 2004 and has more than 150 employees across offices in the UK, France, Germany, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the US. The firm provides consulting in integrated risk management, identity and access management, and cyber and application security.
Turnkey has worked with large clients including Siemens, Serco, and Ruralco.
