DAS42, a New York-based data consulting firm, has promoted Benjamin Reid to the newly created role of chief consulting officer.

Reid will now oversee the firm’s consulting division, ensuring high-quality client service.

Reid has more than 25 years of experience in data, marketing, and media. He joined DAS42 in 2021 as practice lead of data warehousing and business intelligence – implementing business strategies and project expansions for Fortune 500 firms.

Before that, he founded and for nine years led Elasticiti, a boutique data and analytics firm focusing on media and marketing. Prior to that, he spent four years at Operative, a leading ad management firm, where he held VP roles in strategic development, account management, and sales engineering.

Earlier in his career, Reid was VP of sales operations at About.com (now Dotdash Meridith).
