BlackFin Group hires Christopher Call as head of professional services
BlackFin Group, a management consultancy focusing on the mortgage and banking industries, has hired Christopher Call as principal consultant and head of professional services.
In his new role at BlackFin, Call will lead and grow the professional services team, which supports lenders and mortgage technology vendors with new systems implementation, quality assurance testing, change management, configuration, system administration, integration, and custom development work.
Call brings 30 years of experience in the mortgage, mortgage technology, and financial services industries, with deep expertise in technology implementation and utilization.
He was previously VP for digital product strategy and business technology services at Sourcepoint Mortgage Solutions. Before that, he held several senior roles at Mortgage Cadence, including SVP of sales engineering and solution architecture, director of business architecture, and VP of professional services.
Earlier in his career, Call was VP of operations and production training at Argent Mortgage and a junior underwriter at Citibank.
“We are especially excited to have Christopher join the team and run our new Professional Services division as he is truly a seasoned mortgage banking executive and consultant who understands the careful balance between output and results while leveraging long-standing models and frameworks for efficient delivery of professional services support,” Keith Kemph, CEO of BlackFin, said. “I’m excited to now know that our clients will be in great hands with a seasoned professional who is committed to their success.”
BlackFin was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Englewood, CO. The firm has 35 employees, according to LinkedIn.
“I look forward to serving our Clients with what I do best, delivering on their critical business needs,” Call said.
BlackFin earlier this year hired Todd Luhtanen as chief operating officer.
