Centric Consulting buys The Mako Group

Centric Consulting, a Dayton, OH-based management and technology consulting firm, has acquired The Mako Group, a Carmel, IN-based cyber risk management firm.

Founded in 2010, Mako provides cybersecurity services spanning strategy, governance risk and compliance, audit and assurance, penetration testing, virtual chief informational security officer (vCISO) support, and identity access management.

The firm has 29 employees, according to LinkedIn, and supports mid- to large-sized companies in manufacturing, healthcare, education, financial services, and legal.

Centric’s acquisition of Mako will enable it to deliver comprehensive technology solutions that address critical security and risk mitigation.

Centric was founded in 1999 and today has 1,400 employees and 14 offices in the US and India. The remote consultancy delivers services in business strategy and operations, experience design, people and change, IT strategy, AI and data, ERP, cloud, and outsourcing, among other areas.

Centric primarily supports insurance, healthcare, financial services, energy, and public sector clients.
