RSM US appoints two new industry leaders

RSM US has appointed Jason Alexander as enterprise industrials leader and Michele Juliana as enterprise nonprofit and education leader, effective August 1, 2023.

Alexander and Juliana will lead all aspects of RSM’s industrials and nonprofit and education businesses across service lines.

“Both Jason and Michele are proven leaders whose industry acumen and experience enable them to seamlessly take the helm of their respective industries,” said Don Lipari, enterprise industry and private equity leader with RSM US. “I’m confident that their leadership will help to propel their practices forward on behalf of RSM as the leading firm serving middle market companies.”

Alexander has 20 years of experience in risk consulting, program design and development, and technology selection and deployment.

A principal in RSM’s risk consulting practice, Alexander has been at the firm since 2007. He has served as manufacturing sector leader since 2021, overseeing one of RSM’s largest sectors across the service lines of consulting, tax, and audit.RSM US appoints two new industry leaders Before joining RSM, Alexander was a senior auditor at Sears, a senior tax consultant at KPMG, and a tax consultant at Deloitte.

He has a master’s degree in taxation from Florida Atlantic University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of Detroit Mercy. Alexander is a certified fraud examiner, certified internal auditor, and a certified information systems auditor, and holds a certification in risk management assurance.

Juliana has over 25 years of experience leading nonprofit and private sector organizations through technology implementations, including ERP, CRM, and HCM technologies.

A principal in RSM’s business applications practice, Juliana has been at the firm since 2001. She has served as consulting leader of the nonprofit practice since 2019.

Before joining RSM, Juliana was an account manager at Keystone Information Systems and held grant management roles at the State of New Jersey, The University of the Arts, and Princeton University.

She has a master’s degree in educational administration from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wake Forest University.

“Nonprofit organizations and educational institutions are the backbone of the communities where we live and work,” said Juliana. “I look forward to leading this team in our collective efforts to make a positive impact on the industry by helping these organizations navigate the complexities of changes in compliance, technology and the workforce."

RSM earlier this year appointed Sergio de la Fe as enterprise digital leader and John Brackett as chief risk officer.
