L.E.K. Consulting opens Atlanta office

L.E.K. Consulting, a global strategy consultancy, has opened a new location in Atlanta led by managing director Noor Abdel-Samed.

Located in Midtown Atlanta at 1201 Peachtree Street NE, the new location will enable L.E.K. to better serve clients in the Southeast market. The office will serve clients in industries including healthcare, life sciences, retail, industrials, media and entertainment, and private equity.

It is the firm’s seventh US location, joining offices in Boston (headquarters), Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco.

“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our newest U.S. office in Atlanta, a major business hub in the Southeast. Noor Abdel-Samed, a long-time Atlanta resident, is the perfect leader to head the office and tap into an exciting talent pool,” said Manny Picciola, head of L.E.K. Consulting’s Americas region.

Abdel-Samed, who joined the firm in 2017, will relocate from Boston to Atlanta. He currently leads L.E.K.’s consumer healthcare sector.

Before joining the firm, Abdel-Samed was VP of omni-channel at BJ’s Wholesale Club and director of strategic initiatives at CVS Health. Earlier in his career, Abdel-Samed was a consultant at BCG and an attorney.

He has a bachelor’s degree and law degree from Emory University.

L.E.K. has more than 1,600 people across offices in the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. The firm provides consulting in strategy, M&A, operations, sales and marketing, and digital, among other areas.
