Designit adds four senior professionals to US team
Designit, a Wipro-owned design agency, has hired four professionals to bolster its US team: Kevin O'Connor, director of growth; Meghan Byrnes-Borderan, executive experience design director; Myles Washington, experience design director; and Amanda Santello, experience design director.
O’Connor will report to Erik Wagner, executive client director for Designit Americas. Byrnes-Borderan, Washington, and Santello will report to Christine Pizzo, Americas head of design and creative. They will support Pizzo with developing Designit’s full-service offerings in design and creative.
O’Connor has 20 years of experience in marketing and business development. He joins Designit from Select Blinds, where he was VP of marketing. Before that, O’Connor was director of digital marketing at Sprouts Farmers Market and VP of strategic partnerships at Rauxa. Earlier in his career, he was head of business development at Tribal Worldwide and a project manager at The Martz Agency.
Byrnes-Borderan has 18 years of design experience. She joins Designit from sister company Capco, a Wipro-owned management and technology consultancy, where she spent the last eight years in increasingly senior design roles. Byrnes-Borderan most recently served as executive director and head of design at Capco, primarily working with large banking clients.
Earlier in her career, she held senior product designer roles at Jibe and Softcard.
Washington brings 20+ years of experience in design and marketing. He joins from GE Healthcare, where he was senior experience design lead. Before that, Washington was lead experience design strategist at Mirabeau (a Cognizant company) and national solutions director for experience design at Neudesic.
Santello brings 13+ years of experience in designing physical and digital product experiences. She most recently was manager of product and experience design at Forge, a Boston-based trades school. Before that, Santello was associate director of product design for health/pharmacy at pets retailer Chewy. She also previously worked at Accenture, where she was director of experience design in Boston’s digital product studio.

Founded in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1991, Designit provides services in product, service, experience, and business design, with a focus on digital and mobile media. The firm has more than 700 people across 14 offices in Europe, the US, Israel, India, and Australia. Designit has US offices in New York and Seattle.
Wipro, an India-based IT consulting firm, acquired Designit in 2015 for a reported $94 million.
