Attain Partners names Ted Davies partner
Attain Partners, a McLean, VA-headquartered management and technology consulting firm, has appointed Ted Davies as partner and chief strategy and development officer.
In his new role, Davies will oversee development and execution of Attain’s strategic initiatives. He will also continue to serve as managing partner of Attain Capital, the firm’s private equity arm, where he has worked since 2022. Attain Capital invests in growth-stage companies in the knowledge economy.
Davies has more than 35 years of experience in public sector consulting. He previously spent over six years as CEO of Altamira Technologies Corp., an analytics and engineering company serving national security clients. Before that, he spent 11 years at Unisys, where he was president of the US federal government business.
Earlier in his career, Davies spent 17 years with Booz Allen, where he was latterly a partner focusing on economic and business analysis services for the federal government.
Davies has an MBA from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in business from Franklin & Marshall College.
"With an impressive and distinguished career spanning decades, marked by exceptional leadership and corporate growth, Ted embodies the essence of a servant-leader,” said Greg Baroni, founder and CEO of Attain Partners. “His unwavering dedication to prioritizing his team members, coupled with a steadfast dedication to building organizational culture upheld by firmly held core values, makes him an invaluable addition to Attain."
Founded in 2009, Attain Partners offers management, technology, and compliance consulting services to nonprofit, education, healthcare, and state and local government clients. The firm sold its federal practice to Maximus in 2021 for $430 million.
Attain has more than 400 employees listed on LinkedIn.
“I am truly excited to join Attain Partners and be part of a team that's dedicated to delivering excellence, and fostering innovation for colleges, universities, and nonprofit organizations," said Davies. "Attain's commitment to its core values, emphasis on impact, and focus on both clients and team member success resonate with me. I look forward to contributing to Attain's continued success and being part of this dynamic organization."
Attain earlier this year appointed Reshma Patel-Jackson as partner.
