Grant Thornton appoints Lisa Heacock as leader for Seattle and Portland
Grant Thornton, a national accounting and consulting firm, has promoted Lisa Heacock to market managing partner for Seattle Metro and Portland.
Heacock has more than 25 years of professional experience, with a focus on providing finance transformation advisory services. She has deep expertise working with accounting and finance executives on improving performance and optimizing operations, processes, and systems.
Heacock has been at Grant Thornton for nine years, most recently serving as a partner in the Los Angeles office. She was previously director of business development at RGP and an associate principal in the enterprise performance management transformation practice of The Hackett Group.
Earlier in her career, Heacock was a senior manager in the CFO services practice of Deloitte and an audit manager at EY. She also was a controller at Biospace Inc. and Quokka Sports.
Heacock has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Washington and is a certified public accountant and chartered global management accountant.
“I’ve always admired Lisa’s ability to merge deep industry knowledge with a talent for organizing and leading effective teams,” said Tony Perazzo, Grant Thornton’s West region managing partner. “She embodies Grant Thornton’s approach to people-focused leadership, and I’m looking forward to collaborating with her and our talented colleagues as we continue to propel growth in our Seattle and Portland markets.”
Grant Thornton in August appointed Andrea Schulz as leader of its technology industry practice and Russell Norris as leader of its transportation industry practice and named new leaders for seven metropolitan markets.
The firm has more than 9,000 people across nearly 50 offices nationwide. It is the seventh-largest CPA firm in the United States, with annual revenue of $2.4 billion.
