UES buys environmental consultancy InControl Technologies
UES, an Orlando-headquartered consulting and engineering firm, has acquired InControl Technologies, a Houston-based environmental consulting firm.
Founded in 1997, InControl provides environmental and consulting services to commercial property management companies, institutional organizations, chemical and petrochemical industries, electrical and gas utility companies, large industrial complexes, and public sector entities.
The firm has offerings in site investigations and assessments, remediation design, environmental construction management, environmental legal support, regulatory programs, statistical modeling, and asbestos, mold, and lead management.
InControl has 24 employees listed on LinkedIn and offices in Houston and Dallas.UES’ acquisition of InControl will support its expanding focus on environmental services. UES in September bolted on Biome Consulting Group, a Florida-based ecological consultancy.

UES has seen rapid expansion since 2019, acquiring more than 20 engineering firms. The firm was itself acquired by BDT Capital Partners in 2021.
