Ankura, a New York-headquartered management consultancy, has acquired Lumeri, a Denver-based boutique organizational consulting firm.

Founded in 2004, Lumeri specializes in strategic leadership and transformation services for Fortune 500 companies. The firm offers “Execution Certainty” – its methodology for large and complex organizational transformations, which it says helps clients discern strategic issues that undermine success and clarify what is needed to address those challenges.

Lumeri also has its “Advancement of Women” offering, which helps clients attract, retain, develop, and promote women in leadership roles.

Finally, the firm’s sustainability offering advises businesses on monitoring, reporting, and realizing sustainability initiatives.

Lumeri has 16 employees, according to its website, and offices in Denver, LA, Chicago, and London.

Ankura will add the Lumeri team to its transformation, talent, & transactions practice.

"Lumeri's proven track record in driving organizational transformation, through Execution Certainty™ across some of the most significant mega-projects for Fortune 500s is impressive and warranted. We look forward to coming together and helping clients maximize their impact through alignment across the Executive Team, Project Team, and the communities in which they operate," said Angela Cinefro, president of Ankura and co-head of the transformation, talent, & transactions practice.

Ankura has more than 2,000 people providing consulting in change, risk, disputes, finance, performance, and transformation. The firm has 35+ offices in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

"Joining Ankura marks an important milestone for Lumeri," said Lucinda Hanover, founding partner and CEO of Lumeri. "By combining Lumeri's team with Ankura's complementary services and aligned cultures, we are thrilled for the opportunity to deliver unique solutions to the marketplace, particularly our Advancement of Women leadership solution, and look forward to expanding the ways we can serve clients."

Ankura last year acquired GreenPoint Group, a US-China strategic advisory firm, Newstate Partners, a global sovereign debt advisory firm, and Chartwell Compliance, a Fairmont, WV-based regulatory compliance firm catering to banking and fintech companies.
