Zinnov, a New York-headquartered management and technology consultancy, has reorganized its services into two main business units – globalization excellence and technology business strategy. Managing partners Nilesh Thakker and Sidhant Rastogi have been promoted to president and will oversee the respective business units.

Zinnov, which was founded in 2002 and has 400+ employees, said in a press release that the reorganization will streamline operations and enable it to serve its global customers “frictionlessly.”

Thakker has been a central figure in shaping the firm’s global excellence practice, which helps companies establish outsourced engineering and multi-function centers. Thakker and his team have helped clients set up or scale 100+ global capability centers – determining ideal location and talent pools while creating accessibility to de-risked and efficient talent.

Based in the Bay Area, Thakker has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Before joining Zinnov, he was chief technology and products officer at InPowered, VP of engineering for Kayak.com’s ad platform, and director of software and head of the India development center at Intuit.

Rastogi and his team have helped clients across hi-tech, automotive, aerospace, and industrials drive productive channel partnerships and alliances and define and execute multi-location engineering globalization strategy. As president of the technology business strategy practice, he will help clients grow faster and more profitably, while also supporting private equity clients across the dealmaking lifecycle.

Based in Bangalore, Rastogi has over 20 years of consulting and engineering experience. Before joining Zinnov in 2009, he was a senior engineer at Siemens PLM Software, a research engineer at Tata Motors, and a quality engineer at Toyota.

"Our vision is to become a significant multi-generational global management consulting firm – one that stays committed to customer centricity, even at scale,” said Pari Natarajan, CEO, Zinnov. “This move is a natural step for us because it puts our customers' needs ahead of everything. And to accomplish this, we are empowering Nilesh Thakker and Sidhant Rastogi – two exceptional homegrown leaders – to drive Zinnov forward."

Zinnov advises on product engineering and digital transformation, market research and insights, revenue acceleration, mergers and acquisitions, and outsourcing. The firm has worked with over 250 Fortune 500 companies spanning enterprise software, financial services, healthcare, automotive, retail, and telecom.

Zinnov has 10 offices in the US, India, and France.
